So much of Zionist propaganda is focused on de-legitimizing and demonizing Palestinian resistance, as if that can excuse the Israeli occupation's genocidal crimes. History has witnessed countless Israeli war crimes and violations of international law. There are mountains of evidence of Israeli Nazism and inhumanity towards the indigenous Palestinians. Yet, in a vain attempt to distract from their crimes and legitimize their Nazism, the Israeli occupation, with the help of American government and media, dodges any serious inquiry about its crimes by pointing to the alleged crimes of the resistance.

This distraction tactic is soundly defeated when it is understood that the right of the Palestinian people to resist the Zionist occupation, including by armed struggle, is enshrined in international law. The U.N. has repeatedly recognized the right to resist as a fundamental human right, necessary for the self-determination of a people.

On this page, you can find a few direct quotes from different U.N. resolutions affirming the Palestinian right to armed struggle and celebrating the legitimacy and heroism of intifada.
